ROI list
ROI list frame at the top. Left-click to select a ROI element in the list (blue outline in Windows platform, blue background in MasOS platform).
ROI item
ROI item widgets:
- Check box
Some processes are performed on checked ROI(s) such as export, duplicate, distance map, mesh conversion and set operators.
- Edit box
To display and edit ROI name.

Left-click to toogle ROI visibility in the view widget(s).

Left-click to select ROI opacity in the view widget(s) (0.0 transparent, 1.0 opaque).

Left-click to display a ROI color dialog.

Left-click to save ROI (PySisyphe ROI file, .xroi), ROI name is used as file name.

Left-click to remove ROI from list and from view widget(s).
Icon bar
Icon bar below ROI list:

Left-click to show ROI selection dialog (PySisyphe ROI file, .xroi), adds selected ROI(s) to the list and displays them in the view widget(s). This ROI must be in the same space as the reference volume displayed in the view widget i.e. same space ID.

Left-click to add a new empty ROI to the list.

Left-click to save all ROI(s) of the list.

Left-click to remove all ROI(s) from the list and from the view widget(s).

Left-click to copy checked ROI(s) to the PySisyphe console as a list of SisypheROI instances (variable name ‘rois’).

Left-click to show/hide all ROI(s) of the list.

Left-click to remove checked ROI(s) from the list and from the view widget(s).

Left-click to export checked ROI(s), supported formats are: PySisysphe volume (.xvol), Nifti, Nrrd, Minc, Numpy, vtk or DICOM RTSTRUCT.

Left-click to add a copy of the selected ROI in the list.

Left-click to check all ROI(s) of the list.

Left-click to uncheck all ROI(s) of the list.

Left-click to open a popup menu that will calculate and save distance maps of the checked ROI(s). The distance map labels each voxels of the image with the euclidean distance to the nearest boundary of the ROI. Two types of distance maps can be calculated, either with positive values outside the ROI (menu outside positive) or, conversely, with positive values inside the ROI (menu inside positive).

Left-click to convert checked ROI(s) to mesh(es) and save.

Left-click to process texture features of checked ROI(s). A dialog box is displayed in which you can select the texture features (feature definition) and kernel radius (in voxels) used by some texture operators.
Set Operators
Set operators icons at the bottom:

Left-click to process union of the checked ROI(s), adds result to the ROI list and displays it in the view widget(s).

Left-click to process intersection of the checked ROI(s), adds result to the ROI list and displays it in the view widget(s).

Left-click to process difference betwenn selected ROI and checked ROI(s), adds result to the ROI list and displays it in the view widget(s).

Left-click to process symmetric difference betwenn selected ROI and checked ROI(s), adds result to the ROI list and displays it in the view widget(s).
